Our piercers have no less than 10 years experience
We only do piercing here, it's our passion. Because of this we don't want it to hurt and prefer it to be as quick and gentle as possible. Piercings performed here are done freehand without the use of clamps, our needles are teflon coated to eliminate friction during piercing, and all equipment sterilized while you wait.
Kitten Flower Boutique is known for our stringent requirements our current piercers have been professionals for 10-20+ years each. And not just sitting still but travelling and taking seminars, learning how to operate in new environments.
Our owner spent 8 years working with the State of Michigan updating laws regulating body art and has attended a dozen Association of Professional Piercer seminars, as well as had the privilege of teaching one regarding ear piercings.
The piercer most likely to be interacted with is Trevor and has spent most of his career at KIttten Flower Boutique, having finished his 3 year apprenticeship there. He has been a fixture in Kalamazoo for many years now and is proud to be a transplant here from up north.
In Michigan there are no legal requirements to become a piercer, the Health Department only regulates a facility to ensure it has an autoclave and does paperwork and not the quality of work it puts out.

One of the most common piercings to see this one can be a bit tricky to heal
It's best to avoid sleeping on it for upwards of a year if you want it to have a healthy long term heal, especially if you'd like to put a ring (or 3) in it

A nostril piercing is such a cute addition to anyones piercing collection, or even just the entire collection itself
We take every nostril just as serious as any piercing whether you are 16 or 61. Just listen to our staff for any advice on aftercare and you'll have a great time from piercing to healing

"The little nub by my ear canal" piercing as we commonly get phone calls about, this is a simple piercing to get and heal as long as you aren't a nurse.

This is what we refer to as an anatomy permitting piercing
Unfortunately we have to turn down a few of these as there needs to be a perfect lip overhanging the navel to adequately heal
Septum
Simple. Cute. Effective.
A septum is one of the easiest to heal and easy to hide piercings you can get. Known for being relatively low on the pain scale, it's exotic look is misleading

To be honest we can't even begin to post pictures of our work because we do any piercing that your body can heal. Humans come in many different shapes and sizes and our staff is here to access and let you know what you can safely get
